Romney Campaign - Michigan Republican Presidential Debate live on CNBC at 4:00 pm today

This afternoon Governor Mitt Romney will participate inthe CNBC/MSNBC/Wall Street Journal Republican Presidential Debate in Michigan. The debatewill be carried live on CNBC from 4:00 – 6:00 pm, replaying on MSNBC at9:00 pm. It is expected to focus on economic issues.

As you know, Governor Romney spent time here in NewHampshire last week talking about the importance of bringing fiscal restraint toWashington by demanding responsible budgets that cap non-defense discretionaryspending at inflation MINUS 1 percent-, using the powers of the veto, and theneed for a line item veto. Governor Romney also proposes lowering income taxrates across the board, ending the death tax, and eliminating the taxes middleincome families are charged on the money they earn on their savings, theirdividends, and their capital gains. This, Governor Romney says, willunleash the American economy – to keep it the strongest in theworld.

Leading up to the debate, Romney for President CampaignManager Beth Myers will host the first “AskTeam Mitt Anything” – a weekly series of live,online, text-based chats with prominent supporters and members of the campaign– at 2:00 pm.
