Senate Candidate to speak at Presidential Debate Watch Party in Hanover

Senate Candidate Jay Buckey will be addressing Dartmouth College democrats and community members at the Presidential Debate Watch Party in Leede Arena, in Hanover, NH.  Buckey will speak at 8:10 PM.  The Presidential Debate is sponsored by NBC, NECN, and NHPR and is coordinated by the Nelson A. Rockefeller Center for the Social Sciences, and will take place in Spaulding Auditorium.  General seating tickets are no longer available, and a capacity crowd is expected.

Biographical Information

Jay Buckey, 51, earned a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MD from Cornell University. He flew as a Payload Specialist Astronaut for the Space Shuttle Columbia in April 1998. He also served as a Flight Surgeon in the U.S. Air Force Reserve for eight years. Currently, he’s a professor of medicine at Dartmouth Medical School and an adjunct professor of engineering at Dartmouth’s Thayer School. He and his wife Sarah have three children and live in Hanover, NH. For more information, see
