Seven City Leaders Announce Partnership with NH Sierra Club

Inaugural Green Cities Summit

MANCHESTER (June 7, 2007) – Officials from Manchester, Nashua, Keene, Rochester, Dover, Portsmouth and Hanover will participate in the first-ever "Green Cities Summit." The event, which is being co-hosted by the New Hampshire Sierra Club, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 8, on the Third Floor of the University of New Hampshire – Manchester campus. There will be a press conference following the summit at 11:15 a.m.

This summit will be the first in a series to be held in various Cool Cities communities. Members of the press will be allowed to sit in on the meeting and a press conference will follow the meeting at approximately 11:15. In addition to the city leaders, representatives from UNH-Manchester, Southern New Hampshire University, the State of New Hampshire and Public Service of New Hampshire are invited.
