NHElection.info - Basking in Victory!

By now you know the outcome of Tuesday's electoral tsunami. While Governor Lynch was re-elected to an unprecedented fourth term, it was by his narrowest margin ever. John Stephen's credible run against arguably the most popular politician in New Hampshire history helped the wave of Republican wins go deep.

While there are still many recounts (one in the State Senate, and 21 requested in the House) the outline is as follows. All five Executive Council seats are now Republican, and by comfortable vote margins. Both Congressional Seats went Republican, and our open US Senate seat remained Republican. Additionally, Kelly Ayotte achieved the highest vote percentage of any US Senate candidate across the country this fall.

In the State Senate, 19 seats are Republican, with one Democratic seat under recount. In the House, 294 seats are Republican, subject to the outcome of the 21 requested recounts. And numerous county positions went Republican as well.

We have updated the 52 Pickup page, and the results are truly remarkable. All but four legislators will not be returning, subject to the outcome of recounts.

See for yourself and bask in the victory!

NHElection.info - Stop Progressive Decay!

Decay comes in many forms. If you were talking to your dentist, she might say that you need to brush and floss daily, and avoid sweets. If you didn't listen to your dentist, your teeth might decay, causing you pain, trouble, and financial loss at the dentist's office.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you were talking to your mechanic, he might say that you need to wash your car regularly. You also might need to get any scratches promptly touched up to prevent the start of rust. You would need to make sure you get winter salt off your car at the end of winter.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
But what if we're talking about societal decay? What if we're talking about the decay of the republic? Unsustainable debt? The decline in fortunes of an entire society? What would you need to do then? If you want to stop progressive decay, you must vote against progressive politicians. And you must encourage your friends and family to do likewise. Vote against bloated government bureaucracy, spending and taxes. Vote FOR smaller government, more freedom and personal responsibility.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Stop progressive decay! Save the republic! Vote Republican on Tuesday November 2, 2010. That's just two days from now!

The Primary 2010 web page has been updated to include the newly released list of candidates signing the Coalition of New Hampshire Taxpayers Tax Pledge. This important list helps indicate which candidates are committed to restoring the New Hampshire advantage.

See the update at http://nhelection.info/primary

ALSO! The 52 Pickup project has been updated to show which of the most statist and vulnerable legislators removed themselves from the House rather than face the voters they have so deeply offended with their spendthrift ways.

See the update at http://nhelection.info/b52pickup

And don't forget to help retire the rest of the legislators on the 52 Pickup list!

NHElection.info - New Hampshire House Primary 2010

The New Hampshire House of Representatives has 400 members. That means that
most New Hampshire residents practically have a neighborhood representative
in the lower chamber of the state legislature. It also means it is hard to
know enough about NH House candidates to make an informed choice.

There is an important primary just 47 days from today, on Tuesday September
14, 2010. This primary will have an impact on the character of the
legislature next year. We need to make this upcoming legislature a
conservative one that will put fiscal discipline and New Hampshire values
back in the driver's seat in Concord. Some voters discount the importance of
the NH House because there are so many members. This is unwise, given that
one of the chief problems in New Hampshire is runaway spending, and spending
bills and the state budget start in the House, as specified in Article 18 of
the State Constitution.

Here is a web page that may help you make constitutional choices for the
primary. This page lists Republican candidates for the NH House of
Representatives. It does not list all candidates, just those for districts
where more Republicans have filed than seats available. That means some of
these Republicans will be eliminated on September 14, and you can help choose
which go forward.

For the listed districts, some of the evidence of the conservatism of the
candidates has been collected in a single table. If a district is not listed,
that district does not have a contested Republican primary, and all declared
Republican candidates for that district are expected to go forward to
November.

Know your candidates. Defend your Constitution. While there is still time.
