Kashmir will rock the Monkey again with their Led Zeppelin show on Saturday, April 21st

Plymouth, NH.  At 7:30pm on Saturday, April 21st, Kashmir: The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Show rolls back into town to The Flying Monkey. Kashmir is known for bringing true Zeppelin fans back to the glory days of the Mighty Gods of Rock with their elaborate light shows, and authentic reenactments of live shows.  Tickets for this concert start at $18.

Kashmir is made up of Jean Violet as Robert Plant, Andy Urban as Jimmy Page, Matt Stanley as John Paul Jones, and Paul Cooper as John Bonham. Together they are the closest thing to a reincarnation of the original band complete with Violet’s uncanny resemblance of Plant down to his bare chest and curly locks.

The stage show is reminiscent of Zeppelin’s live performance during the 1970s offering a psychedelic mix of lasers and fog. Wearing a page-like dragon suit, Urban pulls off a barrage of guitar licks with ease and wows the audience with Page’s famous bow solos. Stanley, dressed in a replica white suit, amazes the crowd with his performance as John Paul Jones using a custom made cabinet and amp very similar to that of Jones’ setup. Cooper certainly pays homage to John Bonham with his "Bonzo" drum solo during "Moby Dick". And Violet’s close to near delivery of Robert Plant’s often mystical-like lyrics are dead on.

"We don’t try to compete with other Zeppelin tributes. We’re just four guys who try their best to sound like them and look like them," said Violet during a phone interview.   "Seeing a tribute band in a small venue is more intimate and there is more camaraderie between the band and the audience. These new stadiums are all geared towards luxury boxes and the fans now are so far removed from the show it’s not the same like when I was growing up."

The former Plymouth Theatre on Main Street in Plymouth, NH, the funky, 1920’s era playhouse was renovated in 2010 and updated with all the modern amenities of today’s state of the art live entertainment venue. What was previously a two-screen movie theater has been converted into one intimate performance hall. State of the Art Sound and Lighting was installed by renowned acoustic engineer Bill Blaine. The venue boasts a unique seating layout including cabaret style table sections and bars on both the main floor and the balcony. Reserved table seating offers both food and beverage service in the main hall during performances, starting as early as an hour and a half before showtime.

Tickets for the Kashmir concert are on sale now for $18, and $24 for Premier seats. For tickets and more information on concerts and the Flying Monkey Performance Center, visit www.flyingmonkeynh.com or call 603-536-2551.
