It May Not Be Tragic...But It Certainly Is Sad

It may not be tragic, but it certainly is sad that...

Now that Joe Lieberman is about to slink back to Connecticut, John McCain and Lindsey Graham (my two least favorite senators...after Harry Reid) find themselves one stooge short of a threesome and decide to induct Kelly Ayotte into their fraternity.  Give it up, Mo!

It may not be tragic, but it certainly is sad that...

Less than a month after the election, The Demagogue in Chief has decided to hit the campaign trail again this week (off to Pennsylvania) rather than stay in D.C. and try to solve the nation's real problems.  Ah yes, we're into pemanent campaign mode...thanks to Barry.

It may not be tragtic, but it certainly is said that...

Nothing seems to have changed on Fox News.  After managing to avoid the station for a solid week, I tune in this morning to a bulletin...not about Benghazi mind you.  Oh now, these right wing geniuses are back to giving us updates about...are you ready for this...Fast and Furious.  No wonder Republicans got wiped out a few weeks ago...with Republican media so dedicated to focusing on issues no one really cares about.  Sean Hannity and Howie Carr were equally as disgusting on radio.  Oh well, at least there's a Sirius free sample for another few days...bring on Devo, Bowie, the B52s, Squeeze, and the rest of First Wave!

It may not be tragic, but it certainly is sad that...

Harry Reid continues to spew his venom from the floor of the United States Senate.  That Whore House Harry (Jerry Doyle's phrase...not mine) would insist on attacking Grover Nordquist in such an esteemed setting is truly sad....not that I'm especially fond of Grover.

It may not be tragic, but it certainly is sad that...

The outgoing Republican administration at the State House can find no one better than defeated majority leader Peter Silva to issue a statement on an elected Democrat.  (Where's D.J. when you need him?  Plotting a comeback?)  Haven't we heard enough from the Peter Principal?  Haven't we seen enough of David The You Know What Chaser who, despite not being re-elected (he didn't run) showed up for the Republican caucus and is here again for orientation.

Take my word for it, had I lost (instead of winning by the landslide), I would have had the grace to shut up and disappear into the sunset!   Oh well...maybe next time...

You too may submit an entry under the heading...It May Not Be Tragic, But It Certainly Is Sad (it's an idea I came up with while walking along St. Catherine Street Friday night in Montrea).  Let's make is a recurring feature here.
