What qualifications would you personally say are necessary to become president of the United States?

That's a question that continues to surface and the more people look at the vast differences between McCain, a long time senator, a decorated war veteran and past prisoner of war who when being tortured asked to denounce his country in exchange for his freedom yet he stood behind America and allowed his captors to continue torturing him and on the other hand Obama, a junior senator with very little real hands on experience and who's own wife has openly bad mouthed American.

One of the basic questions I think is required of anyone seeking the high office is to at the very least know how many states are in this country.
