And then just four months after this letter Shaheen gave public testimony on the Senate floor critical of groups she disliked "taking advantage of tax codes to keep donors secret". Yup, nothing to see here.

Not to mention her behavior is very hypocritical since she's now one of the ones claiming shock and calling for an audit:
http://www.seacoastonline.com/articles/20130516-NEWS-305160404

Jim Splaine comments on Shaheen Among Those Who Supported IRS Targetting

Rick -- I need a pair of those RW Decoder Glasses too. Because I don't see at all where Senator Jeanne Shaheen was doing anything else than to ask that the law be followed! Shouldn't even Right Wing Decoder Glasses wearers want the law followed?

So, isn't it amusing that an elected official who wants the law to be followed would be attacked by you or anyone else? Posters and readers of NHInsider.com should be proud of our United States Senator.

And they should be thankful that President Barack Obama has shown swift and decisive leadership in saying this disgusting activity is not an American value as he threw out those responsible for letting it happen, starting with an appointee of a Republican President.

Where do I get one of those RW Decoder Glasses, Rick? Maybe I can get my pair at discount at a flee market?

Troll comments on Shaheen Among Those Who Supported IRS Targetting

So I've read the entire letter and I'm still not sure where Jeanne Shaheen was targeting only conservative 501(c)(4) groups. Maybe I need some of those special (R) tinted glasses to decode the secret message. It looks like Jeanne is saying that a lot of political groups are breaking the law and the IRS should investigate.
Maybe the Tea Party crowd is all up in arms because they realize they might be caught skirting the regulations (I'm looking at you, Karl Rove). Simply put, if your "primary purpose" is to funnel anonymous cash into political ads then you are not a "social welfare" organization and you need to disclose your donors and give up your tax exempt status. But please keep crying those crocodile tears because you and your ilk seem to be the only people who can't see what a red herring this "scandal" is.

Rick Barnes comments on Problem With Politics Today

Wasn't anyone big like Dennis Miller. I'd never heard of the guy before.

He pointed out how like most younger people, he followed liberalism because there was no penalty for having wrong ideas. Wrong ideas were allowed to flourish just as much as correct ideas.

Another perfect example of this is Obama's recovery. We are experiencing the slowest job recovery ever since World War I.
