RINO OF THE WEEK REPORT

“Remember that a government big enough to give you everything you want is also big enough to take away everything you have.” ~Barry Goldwater
The RINO of the week is six term House Representative Alida Millham. This week features a Republican whose voting record shows consistent patronage to social statism, advocacy of nanny-state meddling in families and a general lack of political courage. Representative Millam, like last week's ROTW Representative Case, frequently votes against family, liberty and principles of freedom, currying only enough votes in her record to fool consitutents into believing she is a Republican. And like Representative Case, Millham's record demonstrates noted fealty to liberal-progressive government.
- Voted against HB 125 a law that would support the right of the Granite State to regulate firearms within its sovereign borders as a state;
- Did not vote, nor was excused from voting on HB210, commonly referred to as, "Stand Your Ground" Which, "allows a person who is in any place where he or she has a right to be or reasonably believed he or she had a right to be to use deadly force to protect oneself."
Voted against HB474 Which would end Labor Union's ability to compel non-union workers from paying agency fees as a condition of employment;- Voted against CACR 9 affirming that parental rights are a natural right; "Provides that parents have the natural right to control the health, education, and welfare of their children."
- Voted against HB329 The parental notification bill;
- Voted against HB147, the, "Kimberly Cates" Bill which expands the death penalty to murders commited during home invasions and burglaries.
- Voted against HB218 which sought to repeal the authority of the New Hampshire Rail Transit Authority...So much for reducing the regulatory hand of government.
- Voted against HB156 reducing the rate of the tobacco tax, demonstrating that taxation is not merely a means to a revenue stream, but the furtherance of some social policy.
- Voted against SB129, relative to presenting photo identification to vote in person.
Then there are those votes that don't really do much other than show where the mindset of our legislature is...such as, "Urging Congress to withdraw from the UN or from NAFTA" She voted "no" in both instances as any principled "Statist" might. And for opposing principles of limited government, liberty and freedom, Representative Alida Millham is this week's "RINO of the week."

You just proved, and Olson just validated, that you are exactly the mental midget and intellectual lightweight everyone who accuses you of being a RINO says you are.
You are also deceiving the public by running as a Republican. If you haven't been already I expect you to be prohibited from ever registering as a republican ever again. You are an embarassment to yourself and the party and i don't care how much time you put in in the past.
Why don't you make an honest man of yourself, read the party platform for both sides and do the right thing and change to the dems. I am sure the other jackasses could use the company.

DOUBLE ENTENDRE...For example, he calls me a, "loser" and then justified calling me a "loser" because I in my bid for a state rep seat. That way he doesn't have to be fair about it and say that Ward 5 is arguably one of the most liberal democratic wards in the city...Nor does he have to mention that I lost by a mere 18 votes....nor does he have to say that because I am neither a Union Hack, Democrat, Gay person, Fire-fighter, teacher, Greek or liberal the challenge was formidable. Nor does he have to say that Ward 5 has some of the cities lowest turn-out rates for voting. But to Richard, I am just a mere "loser." And that is just okay with me. Irrelevant cowards have lots to say with very little substance.
