The Shrill Kathy On Religion, Fatties, Food Stamps, And Republicans

"I have a great diet. You're allowed to eat anything you want, but you must eat it with naked fat people." —Ed Bluestone

It's a different kind of day when the Shrill Kathy graces the pages of the Union Leader with feigned pity for Republican candidates. And what can be said of the Shrill Kathy where she takes the opportunity to grossly mischaracterized an ad put out by the Perry Campaign. She states, "Rick Perry Complains..." But does he really? Or are the assertions in the spot a pointed statement about the current and existing situation. Having served in the United States Marine Corps, I can tell you there were individuals present and serving who were gay. And they continued to serve.

The job of the military is national defense, not social policy and for a long time loony liberals like the Shrill Kathy Sullivan have sought to change that priority. Leftists want the U.S. Armed forces to more closely resemble the Danish and Dutch Armed Forces for whom the enemies of the free world possess no fear.  What's more, after making a thesis statement about Perry's ad referencing gays in the military, she takes a slap at him with a Brokeback Mountain simile about the jacket he wears in that ad.  Frankly, I've seen more class from drunk people at an Appalachian Wedding Reception. And before the Shrill Kathy starts poking at people's appearances and what they wear, she ought to step in front of a mirror, herself.

Defending Obama Shrill tells us that, "President Obama is a man of faith who receives a daily devotional from Joshua DuBois, the head of the White House Office of Faith Based and Neighborhood Partnerships." But do note the choice of words the Shrill uses: "man of faith," and, "daily devotional"...sans any reference to Christ Jesus, Christianity or God, Buddha, Allah, or Baal. Don't Wiccans, Satanic worshipers and Vodouisants exercise "faith?" Faith in Obama's world is the mere rebranding and repackaging of Saul Alinsky-esque secular humanistic pursuits, sans deity... making the notion of faith more palatable for sheeple who profess a neo-religious or non-religious world view.

The Shrill Kathy clearly loathes Christianity and this inane Union Leader Opposite Editorial suggests just that. The bulk of her diatribe is squarely aimed at Rick Perry, interlaced with pointed shots at Rick Santorum. The commonality? Both profess a faith-based world view and neither candidate is the current front-runner.

And for some gratuitous fun, the Shrill references a You Tube video where, one quips, "Rick Perry may believe in God, but I’ve seen his poll numbers and God does not believe in Rick Perry.” Yes. That is pithy. It is also the rank and file stock that candidates garner as a by-product of the national spotlight...perhaps even a statement of the individual who made the spoof... but hardly the viable data source subject to interpretation as some larger sentiment. But leave it to the shrill to go there.

Shrill Kathy reminds us that Perry was unable to remember the name of Justice Sotomayor, quipping, "There should be a mercy rule in politics that allows Rick Perry to exit the race now." On that point, I might be inclined to agree and ask when we will see Obama's exit. He can go back to one of the #57states and visit those #NavyCorpsemen returning from "Eye-Rack." Talk about descent into caricature. And a Shrill rant just isn't a shrill rant without a lie. The Shrill says, "(Santorum) [L]ast week asserted that the food stamp program is not necessary..." Well, not really a true statement. The Shrill Kathy left out the part where Santorum stated,

"[I] would cut and cap spending on the food stamp program and put the money in block grants for states to individually administer."

Reasonable people would take this to imply Santorum thinks such programs are better administered at the local level than on the federal level.

Santorum then commented, “If hunger is a problem in America, then why do we have an obesity problem among the people who we say have a hunger problem?” The Shrill Kathy's  judgment? An, "ignorant statement."

The Shrill Kathy cites research from the University of Washington that found junk food costs less than fruits and vegetables and that lower-income folks bought less expensive, less healthy processed foods. Talk "make work" and a waste of money and resources. It takes neither research, nor rocket science to know this.

Personally, I have lost 121 pounds over the past year (unlike the Shrill Kathy who doesn't appear to have lost any). Personally, my joints ached from being a fatty, so I am  glad to see she fares better with extra poundage than I.   And in order to go from 347-pounds to my current 226 lbs I had to change what I ate. And what I ate meant an increase in food costs.  You should be quite happy, Shrill...think of all those farm subsidies hard at work. What kind of research is needed to know that a box of ten Devil Dogs and a half Gallon of Milk equals less than the cost of one box of six Kashi Go-Lean bars? And it took researchers to figure this out? One trip to the store is all that was needed.

The Federal Government, time after time has shown itself to be an abysmal failure and these programs are better-managed at the local level. Besides, where are all your big giant corporate liberal friends who run the Granola factories? When are they going to step up? A Red Herring, indeed...You just don't like Santorum because he says "Jesus" (and not the same way and context you might say "Jesus ").

And if it were not enough to go after the current Republican Field, she fixes her sights on, "The Donald" for an inane attack. Trump may not be an American Icon on the level of Jefferson and Lincoln, but for all of his shortcomings and warts, Trump has created a heck of a lot more jobs in one day than any of the Shrill Kathy's pals have in any given year. Leave it to the Shrill Kathy and her liberal pedantists pals with no higher purpose in mind than an anti-business, anti-capitalist world view.

The Shrill Kathy predicted a Carol-SEIU Porter win...She was wrong. The Shrill Kathy predicted a pick-up of seats in the 2010 election for her ilk. Again, she was wrong. Her predictions are more errant than those that are not. And those that are not, are not even her own. So why bother to write all this useless prattle? With so much time on her hands, the Shrill Kathy shakes the Chips A'hoy crumbs from out of her keyboard and goes to work...Being Shrill. Isn't Free Speech Grand?

The Shrill Kathy And The Birthers

"We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid." —Benjamin Franklin

Kathy Sullivan is not only dishonest, but she is also a rank charlatan. The Shrill Kathy is the epitome of moral bankruptcy when it comes to New Hampshire politics.  In the UL today she quips, Why does Speaker O'Brien not call out his birthers? placing responsibility for the less than savory behavior of a few legislators squarely on his shoulders. So, let's be clear about this because whatever "this" is, amounts to nothing more than  another wanton pedestrian rant of the Shrill Kathy.

In prior writings, The Shrill Kathy calls out O'Brien alleging that he fails to respect the process and ignores long-standing rules. Yet here we see a circumstance where Orly Taitz asked for access and redress (due process) that our rules mandate must be provided.  And the Shrill Kathy takes O'Brien to task for not stifling that process. Make up your mind! Sulli-Shrill... Which is it? O'Brien squelches? or O'Brien observes?

Orly Taitz might very well be a nut job. And personally, I think this whole Obama birther thing is little more than a total waste of time and energy because our present-day reality is that Obama is the currently elected sitting President. Albeit, he is the worst President in the history of our Republic. No U.S. President has wreaked more destruction on our country than he.  And Nero fiddles while Rome burns.

But not to be outdone, here comes the Shrill Kathy with her frosting knife. What we have here is a layer of drama and the Shrill Kathy is all too happy to frost such a drama cake several more layers of drama. Her inane rants are a constant reminder that her party is the party of destruction. Defenders of the status Quo with ridiculous bankrupting state spending, protectors of the corrupt unions, stifling of freedom and liberty. She and Buckley's net effect amounts to little more than a couple of hygiene-challenged Nerds fighting over realms of a Dungeons and Dragons game. Like a scene out of Napoleon Dynamite. The Shrill Kathy is once again, "Shrill," trying to confuse us like an audible fart being passed off as a noisy seat cushion.

The Shrill Kathy Spins The Early Primary Notion

"I think it's your own choice if you turn from an angry young man to a bitter, old bastard." —Billie Joe Armstrong

In yet another Cacophonous rant from the "Shrill Kathy" The Union Leader gave her space and ink yesterday to tell readers "why" a December primary will benefit Democrats and hurt Republicans. But, the title is about the only thing she got right and the remaining 782-word pablum was her usual diatribe against the opposition: Those with an "R" next to their names.

The "Shrill Kathy" suggests that "mere insistence" by Florida and Nevada are the mechanisms driving a December primary and makes no mention of the New Hampshire statute (N.H. RSA 659:3) which states in part, "The presidential primary election shall be held on the second Tuesday in March or on a date selected by the secretary of state which is seven days or more immediately preceding the date on which any other state shall hold a similar election, whichever is earlier ... " So Kathy...it is not "more likely" as you put it, but mandated by statute that the Granite State goes first.

Next the, "Shrill Kathy" takes a pot shot at New Hampshire GOP Chairman Wayne McDonald suggesting he is somehow responsible for the decision Bill Gardner will make that is mandated by state statute.  She asserts, "As Party chairman, (McDonald) needs to answer to the Republican National Committee, which considers a December primary a violation of its rules." The nexus of the Shrill Kathy's assertion is hoping that Bill Gardner will change his mind...not Nevada, Not Florida, Not the RNC, but Bill Gardner. Being no fan of Ray Buckley, I can honestly tell you one of Buckley's shinier moments was his advocacy to maintain New Hampshire's first in the nation primary status. But make no mistake about it...it was the Democrat primary that was in play then...Do take note his silence now.

What do we really glean from this? Kathy Sullivan does not give a hoot about New Hampshire first in the Nation primary status. Carefully reading her pablumesque diatribe, we readily deduce this was not about primaries, but more about her endless and inane pedestrian attacks on the party she opposes.

The "Shrill Kathy" implies that it is somehow the exclusive province of Wayne McDonald to get the primary back to January. And in so declaring, goes on to tell readers how wonderful an early primary is for New Hampshire's Democrats.  Yet, another example why the "Shrill Kathy" is so full of herself and overstates what she tries to pass off as analysis. First, we all know that Democrats don't vote in Republican primaries, save for those who adopt the, "win at any cost" approach and register as Republicans to vote. Second, the Shrill Kathy's attempt to worry Republicans seldom ever works and because she writes so often, few really take her seriously. People only pay attention when she raises her voice to a decibel level equal to gunfire. (Right, Dave Carney?) And in that effect it's just merely funny and entertaining.

The Shrill Kathy thinks an early primary, "means at least six weeks less of incessant criticism of President Obama in the state by the Republican candidates." Ah yes..I have to concede that point to her. But I am not clear about her context. Does that mean she is tired of it and wished we'd all shut up? or is she having a tough time facing the hard cold facts in the face?  a President whose deficit spending has put us on the road of financial collapse? Who gave us the financially unsustainable Obamacare? Who gave us continued high unemployment? OWS? A nation never so divided along racial lines, the list just goes on.

And of course, a Shrill Kathy rant would be replete if it lacked yet another shot at local politicians like Speaker O'Brien and Senate President Peter Bragdon.  Those gratuitous snippets are the ones that "out" her motivation for writing.

Finally,  the "Shrill Kathy" lauds the, "entertainment opportunities provided by some of the Republican candidates mentioning Michele Bachmann's reference to the “shot heard ‘round the world’” That is the one thing I agree with the Shrill Kathy on...it was truly entertaining...I would say even as equally entertaining as President Obummer's reference to Navy "Corpse-men" and his visits "to fifty-seven states, with one to go."  My all-time favorite is, "In case you missed it, this week, there was a tragedy in Kansas. Ten thousand people died -- an entire town destroyed."  President Obama should have followed that with, "Thank you! I'll be here all week!"  So while I get it, I also get the myopic Shrill Kathy view that, "Republicans are dumb."  Well here's a newsflash for you, Shrill....Some Democrats are dumb to, but your sweethearts in the liberal lame stream media don't report it nearly as much.

There is but one conclusion to which we all agree...is that these rants come from a consistent source. The lunatic mouthpiece of the New Hampshire Democratic party, Kathy Sullivan. The same Democratic party that spent the heck out of the state budget, and still yet, advocates for more spending, cash cows and goodies for their patron constituencies...the same Norelli crowd that seeks to curtail our liberties, inject themselves into our families medical decisions, tax us out of business, and give us a cradle to grave nanny state, and decide the state should take the place of parents. Oh, and by the way, Shrill, where was it that Geoff Wetrosky lived again?
