One of Paul Hodes most significant campaign contributors in the 2010 cycle is Goldman Sachs. Given their big money insider connections to the Obama Administration an its staff, their connections to bail out central, and the billions(if not more) they stand to make from a carbon trading scheme, taking all this money makes Hodes very dirty. Look for that blog in the coming days.
Brian Poznanski’s missing LSR, the one to help underage drinkers (like himself) avoid prosecution, may be turning up over the weekend. I believe I have secured a modified version of the bill, and will be reporting on the specifics of that soon.
The Climate Circus in Hopenchanghan continues, immune to its own irrelevance, which makes it more like a global Politburo calculating how best to milk the global economy to achieve its idea of social and environmental justice.
Someone told me just this week that Richard Ashooh, who is exploring a run for CD-1, is really just a lobbyist looking to get further inside. We know he promotes the UN’s idea of social justice, so I suppose anything is possible. But I’ll have to look into that further. No one is going to be much impressed with the idea of supporting a lobbyist for congress unless they are already on the take themselves.
And finally, here are the top ten recipients of lobbyist money so far for 2010.
1. Harry Reid $289,028
(D.-Nev.)
2. Charles Schumer $171,670
(D.-N.Y.)
3. Byron Dorgan $170,177
(D.-N.D.)
4. Patty Murray $154,192
(D.-Wash.)
5. Kirsten Gillibrand $135,949
(D.-N.Y.)
6. Arlen Specter $133,560
(D.-Pa.)
7. Blanche Lincoln $126,285
(D.-Ark.)
8. Daniel Inouye $119,173
(D.-Hawaii)
9. Richard Burr $105,299
(R.-N.C.)
10. Chris Dodd $87,800
(D.-Conn.)
