Once more unto the breach

With the departure of Gene Anderson, whose desire to serve did not include selling his soul or his principles to the mood of liberal one party rule, we find ourselves in the midst of another special election. This time to Lebanon, on June 2nd.

The wind tends to blow to the left in Grafton-11, much like the State House of late, where even a democrat like Gene Anderson couldn't lean into it hard enough or long enough to make serious headway when he thought his constituents deserved a slightly different voice.  His departure left the people of Grafton-11 with ought but a liberal trio, still singing directly from the party hymnal, no apparent ear for other melodies.  No apparent interest in choice or diversity of thought.

Confronted with such hegemony, a local resident has come forward to offer the voters in Grafton-11 something they presently lack.   Actual choice.  Someone who believes that there are people in Lebanon who are a bit uncomfortable with the relentless budget abuses and the endless stream of spending.  People who are democrat but not spendocrat.  Independents who don't want to be dependent on the will of the state above their own.  Folks who understand that a tax-and-spend binge whose obvious goal is to saddle the state with a sales or income tax, would deny Lebanon, and all of New Hampshire, its most significant advantage.  People who do not currently have a voice in the House, but need one.  People who know that the only way to get it is to send at least one rep who cannot be intimidated into voting against their conscience.  Someone who wont be beaten down by the liberal party leadership and assimilated into their hive, or run out of government.

Randy Wagoner is a republican candidate with 26 years in Law enforcement as a civilian Police Dispatcher, and a commitment to public service.  Randy is a union supporter and a fiscal conservative, the kind of guy who is not only committed to a hard working middle class, but also knows that our states head-long journey into endless budget increases and uncontrolled spending will lead to a tax burden that will hurt those people first, most, and hardest.

He's not trying to change the world, he just thinks that given the current representation in his district, his friends and neighbors deserve some other voice in the New Hampshire House.  One that's free from any intimidation from his liberal peers.

As a Republican Randy would provide that uniqe perspective. With three liberal House reps already in office Randy Wagoner provides some small sliver of balance in Grafton-11, something we should not just seek in our lives, but encourage in our government at every level.

So with a hope for more diversity in Lebanon, for a second voice, we are again to the battle, readied..like greyhounds in the slips.

Straining upon the start. The games afoot.
