Chickens and Taxes

In fine constitutional fashion the stop the spending rally in Concord attracted a small counter protest.  Sort of a redress of grievances on our grievances kind of a thing.  And you have to love that, particularly when they come dressed in full body chicken suits bearing signs that say Republicans are chickens and chanting show us the cuts.

Where's Frank Purdue when you need him?

My favorite cuts of chicken are the breasts, followed by thighs, and I prefer boneless breasts.

As for the protest chickens, they were making a case for more government, and more spending.  And whenever you make government bigger, you have to make something else smaller.  So the chickens had their cuts already--cut from our wallets to provide their free feed so they could cluck and peck their way anonymously around the state house.  It's easy being chicken.  You don't have to make the hard choices.

Rumor has it they got in an gas guzzling Escalade from Massachusetts but that's unconfirmed as of this writing.

The protest against spending (by the way) went according to plan, with several hundred folks in attendance, including some morons pretending to fit in with signs that screamed--"I'm a college retard who has no conception of just how much of my life's wealth I am voluntarily giving away to the government."

I expect they'll figure it out once they move out of Mom's basement and grow a clue.  In the mean time, they added some more flavor to the event.  Even the sticks they used were a product of someone else's work--branches picked up off the ground.

Chickens and retards.  That pretty much explains budget politics in this state house.

Note: While we were there the chickens in the Senate passed HB1.  So our budgetary conscience has gone to the birds.  Chickens, actually.

I just received a message from an eyewitness confirming that a car load of chickens from the State House gathering, were seen speeding off in a car with Massachusetts plates.

So the people wanting to know where NH Republicans plan to cut the budget were basically paid hacks from out of state. That partly explains why they had no idea about how every suggestion was cut down by the democrat majority. Not that they would care.

Now I wonder where you go to rent a bunch of identical full body chicken suits for an out of state function--and who is it that's paying for them?

Doesn't surprise me in the least that they are out of staters.

What really makes me laugh is how Democrats are spinning this... they control every branch of NH and are claiming it's the republican's fault for not finding cuts in spending as they themselves not only fail to find cuts but push through massive spending INCREASES. Personally I'd rather have a chicken who may be afraid to cut but at least wont increase spending over someone who spends away wildly.

But as I said before, I have 5 years experience on local town budget committees and I've been able to find more cut recommendations then the rest of the committee put together, if Democrats want someone to find places to cut all they have to do is call me. I'll be more then happy to show them.

Plenty of cuts have been suggested, but all have been ignored so save your breath.
Chickens are people in chicken suits too scared to show their faces.

And Democrats are all about big, dirty, outside money and influences.. didn't you know?
This is how they get all their San Francisco agenda passed, and how they are trying to pass an income tax. Remember the GSFTC? They are funded by the UN.

democrats always blame other people for their mistakes. its time we got rid of them. all they do is lie and raise taxes, they make our government bigger and when the government gets bigger, tax payers lose out. pro big government liberals want to control everything from health care to the environment. NH citizens should be allowed to make their own chooses, not some liberal elitist.
