Yelling "Movie" In A Crowded Firehouse

What if we simply agreed that the "previous" administration overspent? How about if we questioned their priorities, their commitment to liberty, or their inability to reign in government and policy initiatives that inflated the asset bubble? What if we even accepted that their foreign policy actually created some level of international tension that aggravated international conflicts?
So what if we agree that the last bunch of yahoos to run the government started a fire, and that the 2008 election was the end result of a voter backlash. That a majority of people believed that this new American government would right the wrongs, fix what was broken, and basically put out the fire?
We can do that, but that still begs the question, when given a referendum for change, why then is the new boss not only the same as the old boss, but worse?
All the Hypocrats (that's hypocrite democrats) have done since taking over the entire government, is dismantle it, toss it on the fire, and pour gasoline on it.
They are re-inflating the asset bubble. Debt service is killing us, risking massive inflation, and they keep spending and spending. We have had a handful of terror attacks on American soil. Government is more secretive and less transparent. We are more partisan than ever, so much so that the democrats won;t even involve the republicans. Spending has at least tripped. The world respects us less. The big money deal making is worse than ever. Corruption appears rampant. Congress and the President actively ignore their constituents in favor of their cronies and campaign contributors. They repeatedly probe at the edges of free speech. And anyone who objects is framed as an enemy of the government.
It is one thing to be a corruptocrat, but it is another thing entirely to be one in broad daylight after promising exactly the opposite, and denying it when called to task. These are the tactics of naughty children not legislators of the free world.
But it's not a total loss. The election of Barack Obama was a pivotal event in American History. It was the beginning of a political awakening. Millions of people who had been indifferent to the process have discovered that their vote does count. That choosing an inexperienced un-vetted freshman Senator with a history of supporting social justice and hating free markets has consequences. That giving the key to our future to a party committed to government before the people, will result in exactly that. And that at the end of the day the hypocrats are not much different from suicide bombers. They will risk destroying their own party if they can destroy America in the process.
The hypocrats yelled fire in a crowded movie house. And when America asked them to put it out, they didn't just stand back and watch it burn, they poured fuel on the fire. And their only defense is that they didn't start it.
