Hate Speech Hypocrisy

Someone might want to let Keith Olbermann know that it's a bit contradictory to suggest that someone can  be a teabagger and a homophobe.  Of course I've never dined at the gender issues buffet so I don't really know what all the menu options are.  There may well be a category of sexual awareness whereby the degree of conflicted homo/hetero self-loathing perpetuates oral homosexual acts as a form of psychological self-torture.

Now I'm not being judgmental about gender issues, I'm actually being judgmental about people obsessed with gender issues and hate speech who are raging left wing hypocrites.  You see, I accept that you may view my heterosexual preferences as aberrant to your world view, or even just view them with indifference.  But I do not accept the heinous double standard by which you politicize comments related to either world view for political gain.

Keith Olbermann's recent rant is a fine example.  Herr Olbermannn is essentially a big mouth clown in the side-show-freak tent at the media circus.  Everyone knows he's a partisan and he does not attempt to deny it.  And as long as someone wants to pay him to be that, and he is content with that relationship, more power to all of them and may they live long and prosper.  But when that free exercise exhibits a level of discourse equal to or in excess of that which left wing gender issue whores use to bash right wing talkers or bloggers--without as much as a peep from them in objection--I'm going to call them out and here's why.

It demonstrates a fundamental character flaw that probably permeates every other policy issue in their tool box.  Hypocrite here, hypocrite there.  It's like having a friend who talks bad about all your other mutual friends when they are not around.  The only conclusion you can make is that they do the same thing to you with your other friends when you are not around.

So while the NHDP Baxley/Buckley gender issues blimp--and its crew of left wing castaways--has no problem bashing speech they object to when it comes from people they object to, when its about someone on the right, from someone on the left, you have to wonder if they are not giggling and nodding, while squatting on a box labeled "False Outrage--use on right wing only."

Now we on the right, don't take much stock in what you say for all the afore mentioned reasons, and far too many more to mention. You guys actually think more government is a good thing, which to us makes you all certifiably insane.   But you are entitled to your opinion.  And in most cases that hardly even matters.  But having consistantly demonstrated a willingness to wield hypocrisy to silence voices of dissent, well, that' you'll have to pay for.

So here's the deal.  You left wing hate mongers need to be consistent.  You either chastise everyone equally, or you ignore everyone the way you ignore the Olbermannnns of the world and simply point it out, laugh it off, and engage the debate like the rest of us.

Oh, and while you are at it, an apology to Doug Lambert is also in order, unless of course you are going to demand that everyone at MSNBC and in the entire democrat party accept responsibility for Olbermannnnnnn?

We'll be waiting.
