It is becoming more clear who has been whispering in Richard Ashooh's ear. Those voices that encouraged him to explore a run in CD-1, and later convinced him to enter the primary, are probably connected insiders, including government first democrats and moderates who are afraid that any upswell of small government candidates in DC could derail the deal making money train that keep government growing and lobbyists like Mr. Ashooh well heeled.
And NowHampshire has just unveiled another piece of the Ashooh pro-government platform. He was apparently in favor of the LLC tax, which will not endear him to small business, the Tea Party movement, or the overall grass roots opposition to more income redistribution in the state or the nation.
Hardly the kind of candidate that would change anything going on in Washington today.
So why is Richard Ashooh even a candidate in the crowd in this low tax-small government political climate? Is it because the insiders needed a candidate to try and protect their meal ticket and Rich Ashooh can afford to run?
Looks that way from here.
