On the Passing of Mrs. Gale Thomson:

I join the thousands of citizens in New Hampshire in expressing condolences to the Thomson family at the loss of their Mother and our former First Lady, Gale Thomson. Truly a gracious lady, she touched the lives of many of us who visited both as friends and supporters. She epitomized what is right about the world of politics, and will be greatly missed. Godspeed, to a dear and wonderful Mother and Patriot.
