Look Whose Shooting Now

How will the left spin the news about the increase in New Hampshire homicides in 2011? The Union Leader reports the number at 23, an increases of five over 2010.
Will the Democrats try to make a case for gun control, even though there were deaths by stabbing, gasoline fire, and the oh so tragic smothering of young children.
Will the New Hampshire Police chiefs who work so hard to infringe second amended rights try to spin the generic details to aid their cause?
That would be an interesting turn of events given that we had five more homicides in 2011 and (coincidently) there were seven incidents involving the "legitimate use of deadly force" by New Hampshire police officers, five of those "uses" ending in the death of a civilian.
And 'let me be clear.' I am not suggesting the police erred in any way or that force was not necessary to save the lives of others, including the officers involved. I'm just pointing out the curious coincidences in advance of any remarks by our liberal friends.
One could make a case for police violence if so inclined. You could also challenge the stability of decades of left wing social engineering. Unfortunately for the anti-gun democrats, unless we're planning to disarm local cops, you can't blame lawful gun owners for the rise but that does not mean they wont try to build a narrative on those lines.
