Cop Killing LA Spree Shooter Is Big Fan of Obama, Biden, MSM, Piers Morgan and More…

Cop killer and spree killer is fan of obama and the MSMYesterday we reported that Floyd Corkins, a gay rights activist, was motivated to kill by the liberal Southern Poverty Law Center.

Today we get to meet Chris Dorner, former LA cop (fired in 2009), murderer, cop killer, (and now mass murderer/spree killer)...who also happens to be a big fan of Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, CNN, MSNBC, Piers Morgan, gun control, and oh yeah, he hates the NRA.

And he wrote and posted a 22 page manifesto to tell us all about it.

Not only is there a 22 page manifesto, no one has to jump through hoops to make the connections.  Dorner has shout outs for all his liberal homies.  Shout outs that the lefty media have been leaving out of their reporting.

The manifesto they are sharing has a page count that might be a bit lower.  You see, the same left wing media/industrial talking head complex that strains every vowel to tie any other shooter or bomber to the right, is doing all it can to hide the lunatic Chris Dorner's ideology...because it is the same as theirs.

From Human Events

About half of the manifesto has been delicately excised from press reports… the parts where he praises gun control, Senator Dianne Feinstein, MSNBC, CNN (especially gun control sensationalist Piers Morgan), Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, and Barack Obama.  On the other hand, he really hates the NRA, particularly Wayne LaPierre (who he incorrectly identifies as the organization’s “president” – that would be David Keene at the moment) and George Zimmerman.

Here, John Hayward at Breitbart reminds us how hard Piers "Musket" Morgan labored to add to the left wing narrative.

I hope everyone has seen the flashback video of Piers Morgan telling Mark Kelly that Sarah Palin should call Kelly's wife, Rep. Gabby Giffords, to apologize for her alleged role in creating the "Climate of Hate" that led to the Tucson shooting

If not, give it a couple of spins while you listen to Morgan whining and crying like a pitiful wretch, now that L.A. spree killer Chris Dorner specifically named Piers Morgan as one of his inspirations.  Time to live up to your own standards, Piers.  Get on the phone and start apologizing to the families of Dorner's victims for your role in the murders.  Do it live on the air, and maybe you can squeeze out a few more ratings points for CNN.

Powerline reports on how hard the media is working to hide the facts they usually scabble for like seagulls over a chicken wing.

Dorner, it turns out, is a fan of President Obama, Dianne Feinstein, Colin Powell, Piers Morgan, Chris Matthews, Brian Williams, Soledad O’Brien, Wolf Blitzer, Meredith Vieira, Tavis Smiley, Anderson Cooper, and Ellen DeGeneres. Meanwhile, he reviles the NRA and Wayne LaPierre, believing that the latter’s advocacy warrants the death of his family before his eyes.

But, as Charles Cooke points out, “in the combined 3,240 words of the lead stories from the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, and the Associated Press, there is no mention whatsoever of the political contents of Dorner’s screed.” To be sure, they all mention the manifesto, but not what’s in it, even in New York Times’ specific post about the document.

So we have a left wing ideologue motivated to kill.  He's got a 22 page rant that names left wing lights and their propaganda mules by name.  And they are hiding all the inconvenient bits to avoid what...?

Their culture of hate comes to mind.

Oh, and Dorner is still on the loose.

A New Front in The War on Women – Do Liberal Chicks Dig Polygamy?

Piggy-backing off of Tim’s post on Mark Steyn’s recent article, I think the polygamy thing (which Tim does not mention) is worth visiting–repeatedly of course–just to remind everyone of the kind of campaign this has been and will continue to be.  Nothing coming from the Obama side will be relevant or substantive, everything utter nonsense.  And nonsense with the same lack of sourcing on the Democrat side as we’ve seen in everything they do.

From Mark Steyn’s recent article

For their next exploding cigar, the Democrats chose polygamy. Brian Schweitzer, the Democrat governor of Montana, remarked that Romney was unlikely to appeal to women because his father was “born on a polygamy commune.” Eighty-six percent of women, noted Gov. Schweitzer with a keenly forensic demographic eye, are “not great fans of polygamy.” You can understand the 86 percent’s ickiness at the whole freaky-weirdy idea of a president descended from someone who had multiple wives. Eww.

Just for the record, Romney’s father was not a polygamist; Romney’s grandfather was not a polygamist; his great-grandfather was a polygamist. Miles Park Romney died in 1904, so one can see why this would weigh heavy on 86 percent of female voters 108 years later.

Meanwhile, back in the female-friendly party, Obama’s father was a polygamist; his grandfather was a polygamist; and his great-grandfather was a polygamist who had one more wife (five in total) than Romney’s great-grandfather. It seems President Obama is the first male in his line not to be a polygamist. So, given the “gender gap,” maybe those 86 percent of American women are way cooler with polygamy than Gov. Schweitzer thinks. Maybe these liberal chicks really dig it.

Another first for Barack Obama.  Too bad about the polygamy narrative though.  I imagine that could have had a lot of legs.

Which leads me to the next obvious question.  Could federally funded contraception users redefine polygamy to mean multiple partners instead of just multiple wives?  Or how about married men who cheat on their wives?  That would make Bill Clinton and John Edwards Polygamists–mighty good company if you are the average modern day Democrat.

Granite State Progress Goes Tucson

GraniteGrok has a weekly on-line internet broadcast called GrokTalk! that streams every Saturday from 9am - 11am--posting pod-casts after.   I do some behind the scenes production work, occasionally co-host, and every now and then call in.

This week I did a call-in because last week Zandra Rice Hawkins of Granite State Progress attended Congressman Guinta's town hall in Laconia, and at one point decided to storm up towards the podium to 'set the record straight.'  She was not tackled, tasered or shot.  In fact she spoke her mind--as liberals are wont to do--without interruption and was even given a chance to ask questions despite essentially hijacking the event.

While I have to wonder if she was hoping for some sign of violence it did not occur.  In fact she was not  escorted out, arrested, or even asked to leave.  The congressman listened and responded, allowing follow ups as he had throughout the event.

Compare that to the behavior of our former, ever-paranoid and remarkably unstable Carol Shea-Porter, keeper of the egg timer, refuser of follow ups, and high horse evictor of conscientious objectors who dare to disagree with her in any tone she finds unworthy.  Rude and elitist only scratches the surface.

Mr. Guinta, so far, has shown a lot more class than the woman he replaced.  You don't have to agree with him politically to appreciate that.

So back to Hawkins.

In celebration of her going Tucson (that's charging a sitting member of congress) just weeks after that tragedy,  and given ex-Kongresswoman Carol Che-Porter's history at Town halls on both sides of the podium, I threw together a "Public Service Announcement" about Zandra and the group she leads to commemorate the event.

Skip plays it in this segment from GrokTalk! this past Saturday, and we discuss it briefly after.

Got Civility? The "Beheading Sarah Palin" Edition

Got%20Civility.jpgThe most recent rhetorical left-wing bridge to nowhere comes courtesy of a wide-brush narrative that swept across the progressive talking points the way "teenage girls falling in love with bad-boy vampires" recently consumed the media-verse.  Everyone and everything had to be about conflicted yet overly moral, day-walking, cold-blooded bad-boys (daddy would never approve of) being fawned over by teenage girls in search a supernatural love connection. And so it is with emotional train wrecks running political parties, trying to emulate Stalin and Mao, as they tilt at a windmill named civility.

In the wake of the Tuscon Tragedy the democrats and their media propagandists went "Twilight" with a two-tined pitchfork of populism.  (Let's call the tines team Jacob, and team Edward.)  One tine was to poke the Republicans as the voice responsible for the violence.  The other was to give their demoralized base a chance to wear that "curb opposition speech/ban guns" prom dress they all have in their closets but that just never seems to go out of style.  Together they would try to use hate speech about speech to date -ape the second amendment in the back seat of a convertible somewhere outside the dance hall.

But as with most left wing narratives this was more projection to disguise their own complicity.  The left is chock full of violent musings they can't seem to keep a lid on, one of which just made an appearance at a Children Theater in Missoula, Montana.

The civility narrative that preceded the "Missoula Massacre" was unleashed like some plague spread via-twitter from beneath the White House, and was echoed from the President and all progressive points beneath.  It was a call for civility, to end the hateful rhetoric, made more often than an obsessive compulsive aunt checks the locks on the doors and windows before bedtime. But like every past effort to promote this narrative the progressives were only talking about their opponents being civil, which is what makes it so much fun to be a blogger.

Within days the left was being the left, calling for the casual verbal or physical abuse of Republicans or any conscientious objector who would not get on board the "civility express to nowhere."

Progressive calls for civility are no different than their calls for bi-partisanship, cutting spending, keeping lobbyists out of the White House, Pay-go, or even the US constitution; there are exceptions--those things were never meant to limit democrats.

So it should come as no surprise that at a Children's theater performance of "The Mikado"  in Missoula Montana, the "grown ups" modified the original script to include a reference to beheading former Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin.  A letter writer to the Missoulian commented that...

Now, I realize you play to a mostly liberal audience in Missoula and so, I am sure, felt comfortable in your calling for the beheading of Sarah Palin. I am painfully aware that most in the audience tittered with laughter and clapped because "no one would miss her" but there were some in your audience who took great offense to this "uncivil tone" about another human being.

I like the part about the tittering with laughter from a mostly liberal audience.   And no, I am not going to ask the New Hampshire Democrat Party to denounce it or any other democrat to do so--they would just be lying anyway.  Besides, nothing that happens in Missoula Montana should have any political traction in New Hampshire...unless of course the play called for the beheading of Nancy Pelosi for example, in something of a more 'conservative' venue.

Imagine a report about conservatives giggling at the beheading of Nancy Pelosi?  It would have the progressives screeching like banshees.   Just knowing that tells us something most of us already know about who they are.  But how did they get that way?  And what is the story behind the added line in the production because the two are connected. Connected to who liberals are, and connected to the narrative.

No one just throws together a play in a few days.  There are usually weeks or months of auditions, readings, rehearsals, set construction, so you have to wonder...was the line about beheading Palin added to the script before the Tuscon shootings or did they add it after?  And does either circumstance make them more or less the raging violent, clueless, hate-mongering hypocrites they continue to show themselves to be?

Teachers, instructors, professionals and involved parents (you know grown-ups), who are rank and file liberals--not professional talking heads, politicians or political communications cranks who make their living off this kind of duplicitous nonsense--probably ran this production.  And these are people who all agreed to add the line in or to leave it in.

So from the script editor to the producer and director, to the production staff down to the actors who had to read the lines more than once before the show even went on, no one thought they should take that line out? No one thought it was...uncivil?

What does this say about the everyday liberal-progressive?

Does choosing to be a liberal just equip you with this kind of 'pre-programmed'  hypocrisy?  Does it just come with the DNC membership or is something you "pick up" somewhere along the way?  Or is this simply the kind of people this political party attracts?

Picking it up along the way would mean that some angry or violent liberal hate speech, 'influenced' these people to a degree that made it business as usual to make beheading Sarah Palin a giggle line at the children's theater, even in the absence of the Tuscon tragedy.  But just weeks after the civility narrative went viral the line was either added or left in and no one in the production noticed?

So is this is just who these people are; indifferent to their own hostility and hypocrisy, even at the middle-class white bread, soccer mom level?  And if it is not a feature of their ideology by default, then who on the left is intentionally training them to be that way?

Liberals Should Listen To Michael Ellenbecker

From Skip's post at GraniteGrok about a dusgruntled, gun-ban favoring letter writer...

I will not enter our people's house until this abhorrent policy is changed. I urge all of my fellow citizens to do the same.

MICHAEL ELLENBECKER
Concord

So Mike can spend that time watching the Oprah Winfrey Network with his fellow (progressive) citizens.

I'm good with that.
