Paul Hodes - Lobbyist?

The Concord Monitor is reporting that Paul Hodes has started a business consultancy. This will have him back and forth to Washington DC for the purpose of connecting northern New England to Washington DC; a lateral move from his role as congressman when he was trying to sign New Hampshire away to Washington DC.

Old Two-FaceThe new biz is called Northern Connection, which will provide strategic counseling to businesses and non-profits.  Hodes is keeping his client list confidential, and in the process of determining if he has to register as a lobbyist.  So he will be consulting money up and down the DC-Concord corridor, into and out of the pockets of....it's a secret.

But it's not hard to figure out, and no one should be surprised.  We called him out on it, and yes he already has a well worn familiarity with a lobbyist and earmark culture he cried wolf about while working the system to fund his Senate campaign.  Hodes is a DC creature.  But we commend him on this capitalist shift even if it is just a Hodesian enrichment project resulting from his who's-who list of Senate campaign donors, some of the most committed earmarkers ever to walk the earth.

The fact that it runs in direct contradiction to everything in his Senate campaign narrative about insider politics, earmarks, spending and revolving-door corruption is just more evidence that he was full of it then, and he's full of it now, he just hopes to turn it into a bigger payday.

H/T Drew Cline calls him out across the board here.

"Retard" Makes A Comeback

In another moment of left wing civility, John Gage, the head of the American Federation of Government Employees Union (AFGE), calls elected officials who want to cut government pay "Mentally Retarded."

The thought police have not filed a report as of this writing to publicly lynch Mr. Gage but Gage is a card carrying member of the Hypocrat party which means he is exempt.  It also means that former congressman and part-time Senate candidate Paul Hodes will not have to return any of the $10,000.00 dollars that AFGE donated to his failed bid for the US Senate in New Hampshire.

That's probably something of a relief for Hodes who can spend it on more hot dogs for his next campaign-whatever that might turn out to be.

In the meantime we have the video of Gage in polite Union company, and the satisfaction of knowing that Gage's investment in Hodes belies a greater truth about who it is that is mentally retarded.

Hodespocrisy - Birds Of A Feather

Fifteen democrat Senators have written a letter to the FEC seeking to act on the possibility that multinationals are using their foreign dollars to affect US elections.  Ten of the fifteen have PAC's that have donated to Paul 'foreign money hypocrite' Hodes.  All but one of the fifteen has taken money in 2010 from foreign multi-nationals including Senator Jeanne Shaheen, a co-signer and co-hypocrite who took at least 41,850.00 potentially foreign dollars in 2010 herself before signing the letter.

But that's a hypocrite for a different election.  We're here to remind you what a hypocrite Paul Hodes is.

A review of US Senators by CNBC identifies 86 who have received money from companies that fit the left wing narrative on those meddling foreign contributors, at least 27 of whom have PACS or committees that have shared money with Paul Hodes.  That's on top of money he's received directly from organizations or companies with a foreign presence.

And on the jump (or the CNBC link above) you can see all the foreign money the letter signers have roped in, just in 2010.

So I guess they'll be giving it all back then?

Ok, Like, This Is Me On The defict, Eh.

Talk about change.  Carol Seiu-Porter and Paul Hodes have stood athwart history and shouted "Spend!"  Under their brief (and yet somehow tortuously long) tenure in congress--and more importantly in just the past 20 months with nothing to stand in their way--not even you--they have managed to outspend almost the entirety of American History.

In twenty months the democrats have added $3,039,049,594,342.88 dollars to the deficit.  (That's trillions).   That's more debt than the entire history of America from its founding to 1990.

Three trillion, thirty-nine billion, spent in 20 months.

Now might be a good time to roll out those democrat press pages from 2007/2008 where they acted all obsessed over the irresponsible deficit. (Apparently what they meant was that it was not large enough)

Fiskal Konservative

This report still says I'm full of Sh*t!For quite some time, Paul Hodes has maintained a diary over at the Daily KoS.  That's the Daily KoS.

And now, a diarist from the Daily KoS, expects you to believe that he is actually been undercover, hiding so far up under the left wing, that he would be permitted to keep and maintain a diary at the Daily KoS.

He was so well concealed that he voted with the far left liberal agenda over 95% of the time.

He bemoaned a 400 billion dollar deficit, then proceeded to triple it in the first year under Obama.

He proved his complete devotion to abortion that he voted for federal funding of abortions across the globe, here in America, paid for by taxpayers, and proudly de-funded federal abstinance programs and gave all that money to the pro abortion group programs.

He ranked 45th in earmarks for 2010, then pretended he was against them.

He ran away from an ethics hearing, but insists he's pro-ethics.

He has done nothing to stop the spending or the socialization of business.

He even released TARP funds with flawed oversite rules, then voted to spend paid back TARP money and a second stimulus, instead of paying down the deficit.

And he's a diarist at the Daily KoS.

If Paul Hodes is a Fiscal Conservative Carol Shea-Porter is Margret-frikkin-Thatcher.
