We'll see you in Bethlehem.

"We'll see you in Bethlehem."

This is a line from one of my favorite movies, its called Bob Roberts. It stars Tim Robbins in a political satire about a candidate for the U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania. There's a scene in the film where Roberts campaign manager makes a comment to a reporter amidst questions of corruption on the part of the Roberts campaign that "we'll see you in Bethlehem!"

This is a good political film. But it also makes me think of the reality of Bethlehem, Pa which is also depicted in this video "Almost Gone" by Garden bay films.com that I found on UTUBE. It also makes me think of Berlin, New Hampshire and what is now gone. But starting in 2009 the abandoned Bethlehem Steel complex will enter a new history. A new venue as a casino destination and tourist area. This project called Bethworks will create jobs, taxbase and long term opportunity for Bethlehem opportunity that is not there now.

If Pennsylvania can do this why can't New Hampshire?

We'll see you in Bethlehem.
