Each year Hampton Beach closes out its tourist season with an annual seafood festival. Its quite a time. I didn't go this year but the whole idea of this festival made me think of my recent vacation to Atlantic City, New Jersey. And more specifically, the new construction I found there. This is a shot I captured from the parking garage at The Borgata Casino at One Borgata Way.
Imagine this type of construction happening at Hampton Beach, New Hampshire and how this would impact the economy in New Hampshire. Recently, I was reviewing the spreadsheets on the Pennsylvania Gaming Control website showing the revenue base for the casinos in that state. It looks to me like to overall footprint is growing at a rate of about 15-20% in a downturn economy.
Imagine that newly created NH Gaming Commission reporting out something like this.
