Though this may not be directly related to NH Politics I think it’s still worthy of passing on.
As I understand it all owners of Microsoft Office 2007 are entitled to a free upgrade to Microsoft Office 2010 when the full version comes out which is soon. In the meantime a beta version of Office 2010 is available on the Microsoft website. I’m using the beta version right now the only real structural difference I’m finding between the 2007 and 2010 versions is that the interfaces are a lot clearer, cleaner and the software loads a lot quicker with the programs like Microsoft Outlook and Excel software now offering greater and easier functionality for downloading materials like photos and graphs.
Before installing I’d recommend doing a system cleanup and a disk defragment to ensure the beta transitions to your computer to the manufacturer’s specifications. Once this is done I think you’ll find as I do that Microsoft Office 2010 is an improvement over the 2007 software and will be quality for delivering content like NH Insider.com.
