So I’m reading the various political blogs on the Concord Monitor and come across and idea that I think is intriguing, and perhaps a better word. Cool.
It goes like this: former Senate candidate Bill Binnie is purchasing television stations in southern New Hampshire and Vermont. Imagine what could happen if this effectively comes to pass. An alternative to the cast and crew of the WMUR.
Not that WMUR would be any type of gatekeeper.
So the former Senate candidate could create a New Hampshire based television network that could actually report some news, some real news. Then I’m thinking at another level—Rep. Vaillancourt is proposing eliminating taxpayer funding for NHPTV not only saving money but another opportunity for a venture like this one.
Stay tuned on this one.
