It's interesting that Gov. Maggie Hassan has decided to align herself with the plight of the homeless.
Interesting in that this is in direct contrast to much of what she has previously espoused as her innovation vision for New Hampshire. (A vision that isn't working).
But beyond public relations, rhetoric and campaign politics I'm wondering what this Hassan move really accomplishes. I remember when then Gov. Shaheen was asked to meet with some 30 homeless people living under the I-93 bridge in East Concord. Shaheen refused, or was told to refuse.
