It's amazing how New Hampshire can go from a budget deficit to a budget surplus in as many months.
While reality shows local property taxes increasing, not decreasing.
Is there a pattern here? The state bureaucracy will always want more revenue that's the real New Hampshire way!
It's going to be an interesting 2014.
While I'm talking about local property taxes, I'm in the process of checking with local tax collectors about how much of an increase there has been and if (very likely) there has been a marked increase in property tax default rates and foreclosures due to unpaid property taxes.
This is one of those subjects that local bureaucrats don't like to discuss. It can be difficult to get accurate information.
