NJ Lost Money. NH Will Too.

It looks like Amtrak has pulled the plug on the Atlantic City Express Service known as ACES the luxurious train sets running from New York-Philadelphia to the destination casinos at Atlantic City.

It looks as if this “public private partnership” has reportedly lost some $17 million dollars in its four years of operation against a backdrop of low ridership and the forced slashing of ticket prices from $110.00 to $29.95.

It’s hard to get people out of their cars.

The same thing is going to happen in New Hampshire.
