There was an interesting political item in the Union Leader recently, it was about the state Democratic convention and how Sen. Kelly Ayotte was using technology to obviously do something political.
Basically, it works like this. A signal is broadcast and cellphone users in the arena receive a message like an ad from GOP Senator Kelly Ayotte. At first I thought nothing of it. Just another political strategy and venue as campaign and re-election season approaches.
But is there more to it than this?
I'm thinking this might be a vain attempt at bereft allegiance and perhaps to capture a few votes at the same time. Political campaigns are sophisticated, and especially so for a race as strategic as the U.S. Senate.
Perhaps this was a simple ad on a cellphone and nothing more than this.
