To The Editor:
At the end of September I attended a listening session sponsored by two Vermont legislators, it was very good.
State Representatives Scott Beck and Janssen Willhoit of Caledonia District-3 responded to numerous questions ranging from Act 46 to the increasing size and power of state government. Both are excellent legislators. They actually answered substantive questions with realistic answers, instead of turning it into a political forum used to angle for higher office.
It's too bad we don't have this level of leadership and representation over here in New Hampshire. Instead it seems that we have a bunch of talking parrots waiting for Gov. Maggie Hassan to make all the decisions. They don't even bother having listening sessions.
