Got Ethics?

In the wake of today's announcement that the Democratic Party will be required to defend its campaign tactics in court, the Lynch Campaign respond by doing an equally unethical campaign move. During preparation for tonight's debate, in the middle of state employees work day, Lynch Administration staffer Pamela Walsh abandoned her duties to the tax payers who pay her salary, to participate in pre campaign preparation at WMUR TV.

"Today on the front page of the Union Leader we see that papers have been filed in state and federal court against the Democratic Party for inappropriate behavior in the past. They continue the same kid of inappropriate actions the very day those lawsuits come to public light. Pam Walsh works for the state, not a campaign and the law is very clear. If Pam Walsh is taking money from tax payers she can't be working for a private entity. The people of New Hampshire deserve more from the Governor who once claimed to be about ethics." said Michael Biundo Campaign Manager.

Prior to today's debate at WMUR TV, campaigns were offered the opportunity to "walk through" the studio to help prepare for the live televised campaign event. While Coburn Campaign staffers were there, Governor Lynch and Administration staff member Pam Walsh arrived to review the site. This occurred during the state work day.

He used a $110,000 UNH employee, Ned Helms, to get elected and work in his office as a volunteer and the press turned a blind eye, why not do it again.

To those who do not understand -
Pam is the spokesperson for the
Governor, and, thus, her making
the trip to the WMUR studio with
the Governor was part of her
official duties as the Governor's
press secretary.

You need to get your facts straight,
and perhaps take some college-level
courses that would help you to learn
more about what it takes to be a
good press secretary.

Knowing how ethical and how smart the Lynch team is, something tells me that Ms. Walsh was not on the state clock when she was at the studio.

This is a clear breach of ethics. No question.

Point of the matter is...this was an election function...election staff should have handled it.If she has time in the middle of the day to do election business she should take a leave...save the taxpayers money.

And has anyone inquired as to whether she was on leave? Of course not - I will repeat, knowing how ethical and how smart this administration is, I suspect that Mr. Coburn and the Republicans will be embarrassed over this.

According to the Union Leader:

'Biundo complained that Pam Walsh, Lynch's press secretary, was eating up taxpayer dollars on campaign business when she checked out the debate setup on Thursday afternoon.

Walsh provided us a copy of her approved vacation request slip, which shows she used five hours of vacation time to be at the scene."
