Fran Wendleboe launches New GOP website

Rep. Fran Wendleboe has launched a new web site to update Republican activists on the actions of Democrats in Concord. Some wonder whether the launch indicates a division within the GOP or the signs of a further motivation for her to run for higher office.

You can find the site here.

Is it a split or a desire on the part of Rep. Wendleboe to publicize herself?

There IS a division inside the republican party. Queen Fergie is cow-towing to Buckley and many republicans don't like it. Look what happened to Imus. If Fergie had some guts he would have crushed Lynch and ANY one else who supported Buckley.

It's always good to keep people informed of what goes on in Concord - as long as it's the spin-free truth of what is going on.

I think it is a very thoughtful website, promoting the GOP Platform and showing Rep Wendleboe's leadership within the party.
Just because she didn't get the chairmanship doesn't mean she isn't one of the 'Leaders' of the party!

Everyone has blogs these days, why not Fran? She's right there with the action and we appreciate her effort to keep us updated on what is going on up there...

It doesn't have to 'mean' anything except she is doing a good job at her job of representing us. I think all Reps should have a website.

What doesn't Frannie like?

I the Dems reduced the waiting period for thoese with disabilities to receive services from the state.

I guess she's jealous - the Republicans were in the majority for decades and did nothing about this serious problem and the Dems, while not completely solving the problem did something about it in less than four months!!

Lets take a look at some of the facts that the website mentions:

1) "Environmental lab fees will increase, costing taxpayers $1.2 million more." In fact, the fee increase will cost taxpayers less. Right now, NH taxpayers are subsidizing lab users. The fee increase just make sure that lab test users pay the cost of the tests they request,

2) "truck registration fees increase by $200" the actual increase is a maximum of $176, and this is is only on 18 whreelers. The website doesn't mention that these fees help maintain the highways, which are desparately short of money, and the fees have not been raised in over 20 years. Can anyone name anything that has not gone up in price in 20 years?

3) "This week the Democrat controlled house passed a budget of 10.4 BILLION DOLLARS---.... a 16% increase over the last two year budget" The website doesn't mention that in the past, many expenditures were off budget, brought in after the badget was passed and voted oin by the fiscal committee. The House changed the rules to say that normal expense items must be in the budget and voted by the House.

I shouldn't wonder Fran has a web site about what is going on with the GOP and the State budget.

She happens to have been one of the smartest and most informed legislators in the House. I sat through some of the hearings where Democrats acted as though the budget was an auction.

Now the tax and spend fools have the ability to do real damage and Fran can expose them item by item.

God bless her. Keep it up Fran.
